Why can't I have a life?!

Serious? Why is it that everyone  expects me to help them cover their shit and fix their problems but when I ask for something that's more than  easy to everyone ignores  me or  is unwilling to help? Now the next question is why  am I the only person who can't get a shift covered but won't call in cause they don't want to be there. Fucking responsibility sucks if I were like almost any of my other associates who act like they are entitled to not be at work when they want I would just call in and say fuck you you figure it out I won't be there. Stupid uhhggg I am so not going to be in a good mood the rest of the day hell  even through next week maybe! Fuck it all alright and from now on you all have to take care of your own goddamn shift I'm not helping!

Street Signs

Street signs are meant to tell people how to use a certain section of road. That includes no entry signs, speed limit signs, protected left signs etc.So why then is it so terribly difficult for people to stay in their own freaking lane in a double turn lane ESPECIALLY when I have my FREAKIN' BLINKER ON!!!!
Not only does this particular incident happen to me on a regular basis but today it had to happen on my way to work, I'm already late, and its EIGHT O'CLOCK IN THE FREAKING MORNING!! and... ANNNNNDDDD... she was in the car with her WHOLE FAMILY! 2 small boys and her husband and she can't even stay in her own lane... SERIOUSLY?!


This has been the week that if something were going to happen it would.
No one wants to be at work so they all have been calling in "sick" and they aren't very good at taking turns. Now granted some might actually be sick but most of them use the standard excuses like "I didn't think I was scheduled" or "I had some random plans spring up" or "eh I just don't want to what's a good excuse." It seriously wears me out and ya know I try to make everyone happy and get everything working right but then the one day I want a little help so I can do something near and dear to me I kinda get shoved off..... Irritating.....slightly.


I think things like this have actually been good for me though. Yeah they totally suck but I have become more patient and tolerable. although I have very little patients for stupid people and it seems those have been in all but short supply lately.


Hey but now I'm home watchin' Tron Legacy with my lil' brother. I'm glad he likes to just spend time with me sitting and talking, ridding in the car or watchin' movies. He's growing up sooo fast though... but into a nice well rounded boy. lol

Are you kidding me?!

Guess what I have been working at various jobs since I was 11. Your 15 ain't nothing! And I could give a  shit less if you think your better than me I would just appreciate you not telling me to not think I'm better t than others right before you call me worthless because you are going to be a doctor. Umm HELLO?! CONTRADICTION MUCH?!Really don't care if I made you cry either and  if you think coming to your job not to mention your fiance's job and telling your SUPERIOR off is a good idea you have a LOT of... wait what's that called again..... STUPIDITY!!!

Ok first of all you should do what your BOSS tells you to even if you don't like the other person that helped your BOSS do what you need to finish!
Second of all you NEVER HANG UP ON ME AND EXPECT TO HEAR THE END OF IT! grrrrrr
And last but not least it doesn't matter if you don't like the person that did something for your boss and made it easy for you to finish the small project, you should still do what you BOSS (ya know the man who signs your PAYCHECK and decides whether or not you have a JOB) tells you to do and you can bitch all you want to yourself but do what your fricken told. What is so hard about that. And no it isnt your job to clean up others' messes but its alo not MY job to clean up after YOU beacuse you HIDE ALL DAY DOING WHO KNOWS WHAT (not your job obviously) or not KNOWING HOW TO COUNT and blaming it on not being able to stay past 12:30! You shouldn't be there that long ANYWAY! TIME MANAGEMENT DUH!!!! Don't use that excuse on me if you leave me with your shit to fix all the time!!!! *twitch*

Misty eyes stare into dark velvet skies
Counting the stars
Of all the days gone by
Connecting the dots
Of happier times
And letting out tears
That reveal the truth in the rhymes

A tiger striped face
Looking out the window
Watches the misty eyed me
Through the Venetian blinds
Poised to attack my vulnerable toes
With love and devotion

Misty eyes clear and give way to laughter
Brought on by a tiger striped face
Ready to love me with claws outstretched
The laughter ensues making a new shining memory

So sleep, I have decided, is very NEEDED and people need to STOP fucking it up for me! Just saying! If I ahve to be up early like 4 days in a fucking row with a close shift or some shit before each day then people need to be FUCKING EFFICIENT so I can go  home and SLEEP! Yeah I know its all Bailey Bailey Bailey but ya know what I don't give a damn! Now I think I can sleep! I feel much better!

Photoshop stuff...

So I have a collection of Photoshop pictures and such that has been growing lately. I taught myself most of what I know how to do in Photoshop from various tutorials and videos online. Plus Photoshop is really all I did my Senior year of High School so I have a little practice!

This was an interesting technique to learn and the effect is pretty cool too! 

I really like this coffee cup. In the smoke if you look close enough you can see there are words that describe coffee house drinks. 

This was fun because it got an eye roll from my subject! I mean he is like 6' 4'' for god's sake he might as well be an Avatar! 

This has a lot of components. First I had to make the goo look like it was coming out of the gun. Than I had to separate pieces of the grenade before making the goo and smoke for each one of them. It took a while but it was fun! 

Overall I really do enjoy Photoshop and I am going to try and post the new things I make on here as well as my album on Facebook. Really with school I haven't had as much time as I'd like to devote to such things. But that's how it goes right?

So I thought I would finally put some pictures of my 2 adorable children on my blog. And this entry seemed as good a place as ever! Enjoy they are pretty cute!! I'll add more photos later!

uhhg... My nose is killing me!

So my throat hurt last night right... well I woke up this morning and couldn't breath outta one nostril! Then I almost couldn't talk lol It was really pathetic. Why is it that Nate will get sick and he won't stay sick but I get that same thing and can't function for the next week!?

Change... good in small doses....

So there are 10 registers at work. And yeah they need change but you won't use 4 rolls of pennies or even one roll of nickels in your five hour shift. So why is it that someone thinks there needs to be 4 rolls of pennies and a roll of nickels and dimes and 2 rolls of quarters? Seriously it just makes the drawer heavier than shit and harder to count. 
Now on to my next rant..... WHY is it that the day I have to do the most talking my throat decides it wants to hurt and makes my voice crack? Do I really need to deal with that while dealing with the idiots on the phone and in the store all night? NO!  
Really tonight wasn't a bad night it actually went really well (despite the change thing). 


On another note, Nate got fired. For some bullshit reason after some other bullshit we just won't mention. But luckily he is an LVN and you can't stay unemployed for long when you are a nurse. We were up at 8:15 this morning arguing over covers of all things lol when his old job called. Shortly later we were up and dressed and out picking up applications. We filled out 4 online then went and saw Joseph (who I think should come back and work with me!)  at Coronado before calling a few places in the paper. 
The third place we called decided they wanted him, we went filled out the paper and stuff and now he's gonna be a travel nurse making a min of $21 and hour to drive to Sweetwater or Odesa or somewhere and be a nurse 6a to 6p or something like that. So overall besides being up before noon on a day I didn't have to do anything before noon, today was a pretty good day. Good close, found Nate a job, pretty good day! 


Now I suppose I should probably go to bed seeing as how I have to go to school at 8 am tomorrow morning.

So tonight was the first night I had to close all by my lonesome! I think it turned out alright despite the constant 
nagging I had to do to get someone to do what I asked them to. Pretty soon I'm gonna be the GSM that writes you up till you get the point! I mean seriously how hard is it to answer the phone by the 3rd ring, check the box every 30 min and run the freaking videos?!? I don't think I ask for too much just what you're already supposed to be doing! Have some initiative damn!

Poor Max-A-Million

My poor Bubba! Archimedes went in to heat... most likely on Monday so that would make today day 3. Max will be snuggling with her or giving her a bath and all the sudden she is hissing and biting at him and poor Max doesn't know what to do. He gets all but hurt and sulks off away from her just to have to come back and love on him again! My poor Max is gonna have a complex by the time her cycle ends! I'm getting her an apt. with Dr. Lewis as soon as she is finished with her cycle so we won't have to go through this again!!  You should see Max's hurt face! I might try and get a picture. He looks so dumbfounded!

Work....possible rantings about work....yeah

   So tonight I got to close as a Front Counter manager and I think it went alright despite the associates that decided they didn't wanna listen! I mean come on guys I only ask for things when I can't do it all myself! 
   And in the middle of all that... the new stuff, stuff not getting done,people not listening, there was a man who fell during a seizure and bumped his head. But thankfully there was a State Trooper there that helped along with a couple of our regular rental customers. The ambulance came and took him to the hospital. I hope he is alright. I held the movies he'd been shopping for so if he came back he wouldn't have to go looking for them. 
   I wonder if Bob will start scheduling me to close more often now that I have learned how? I mean that would make sense right? I could work like 3 more days a week then! That would be awesome! 
   Well I suppose that is all for this evening it is late and I have to go to school tomorrow. First day back since all the snow crap happened! Well Max and I say good night all!!   

Snow

Well it snowed yesterday and since snow in Abilene, Texas happens once in a blue moon everything kinda shuts down. Well that is except for my work! Of course one of the only places that stays open when its dangerous to be out is my job. Ya know one of the maybe 4 places that stay open when its colder than shit and twice as icy! I have to work at 5 so that could be a fun experience! 5pm to 11pm woot I'm so very excited!! NOT! And on top of that I have to go back to the Doc and see why my infection hasn't gone away... really sucks when you know it hasn't because it keeps you awake..... :( bummer dude..... Well I suppose thats all for now!

Woot #3

So this is post 3!!
I have started this 30 day challenge thing for my health class. Chalene Johnson is the woman who made the program and she sends you a little homework assignment every day to help get your life more organized. We will see if I can keep up with it for the next 30 days. She said in the opening tutorial that it only take 21 days to make a habit. Wish me luck!

Post number 2!

So this is entry #2 into my first blog and I have to say I am proud of my self that I remembered I had a blog!
Today I went to government class after a lunch with my boyfriend. Then I promptly started on a picture I was asked to photoshop. I think it turned out quite nicely and I posted it to my Facebook. Now I suppose I am going to go eat dinner with the family and then possible hang out with Pockets after she reads with Erin. Overall a pretty good day right?!

Grrrr......RAWR!

So this is my first blog.... woot! Thought I might give this a try ...might actually be good for me right?Well to start off I love to write and read and draw and all sorts of things and hope to share a little bit of that plus some of my eccentric thought with the world here.
